We greet you! We are reaching out for volunteers! We can use your help right now! Our Festival screens films about male-female relations, media images, spiritual questions, Black men around the world.

The IBMFF is a volunteer group. But we will cover your out-of-pocket costs, including gas.

-- Staff Assistant / All-around help. Make phone calls, pick up and delivery, arrange meeting place, etc.
-- Social Networking / Work on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking.
-- PR/Marketing / Brand us! Give us a Festival "look" for biz cards, t-shirts, web site. Flyers, speaking, networking, PSAs, give-aways
-- Festival Flyer Distribution / "Street Team" work. Get flyers into hands of groups, businesses, meetings, colleges, etc
-- Film Traffic Manager / Keep track of films, from hunting down films we want, to entering details about the film in a database, making backup copies, etc.
-- Funding-Proposal Writing-Grant Writing / Work with getting us funding from various sources.
-- Assistant Director / Works with the Festival Director on all aspects of the Festival. Planning, brainstorming, critiquing, organizing, funding, speaking, training future leaders
-- Film Preview Team / Preview and grade films for showing at next Festival
-- Technical Team / Set up international video conferencing, equipment needs, etc.
-- Festival Ambassadors / As you travel to other countries, spread the word to film lovers, filmmakers, writers, artists, etc.
-- Bookkeeper / Keeps track of Festival money, receipts, bank account, etc
-- Assistant Director - Volunteers / Works with all the volunteers. Offers help, arranges rewards, encouragement, runs interference for them.
