Our film festival is seeking films about Black men. The International Black Man Film Festival is celebrating its Tenth Anniversary! Films will be screened on Sat.19.Nov.2011, in Atlanta USA, and Accra Ghana. Deadline is Thu.15.Sep.2011. Those of you with completed works -- Submit films now!
We are seeking films about Black men in all their diversity and
complexity.
We seek films about:
-- Black men as as artists, survivors, trend setters, visionaries
-- The Black male image, domestic violence, Black masculinity, human rights
-- Interpersonal relationships, spiritual issues, world affairs
-- Prisoners, poets, professionals and pimps
-- Black man as heroes and villains, "positive" films and critical films
Anyone can submit a film -- males, females, all races and places. Features, documentaries, student works, short films, music videos,
comedies, older works and works in progress are all welcome.
Films in any language are welcome. Submit works in DVD format. There
is no submission fee.
